This Cookie Policy explains how Kora Study uses cookies and similar technologies. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We also use related storage (such as localStorage) for preferences and consent. In this policy, “cookies” includes those similar technologies.

2. How we use cookies

Essential (always on)

Required for the Service to work. You cannot turn these off in our banner without stopping use of core features.

Reliability / diagnostics

We use Sentry for error monitoring so we can fix crashes. This is used to operate a reliable service, not for advertising. We aim to minimise personal data in error reports.

3. What we do not use (today)

  • Advertising or retargeting pixels
  • Cross-site ad trackers for selling ads

If that changes, we will update this policy and the consent UI.

4. Your choices

  • Essential only — sign-in and preferences; no PostHog analytics
  • Accept all / Accept analytics — essential + PostHog in production

Browser controls can also block cookies; blocking essential cookies may break sign-in.

5. Retention

Consent choice is stored in your browser until you clear storage or change preferences. Session cookies last for the authenticated session period. Analytics data retention follows PostHog’s configuration and our Privacy Policy.
